Congratulations, Jackson Williams!
We are thrilled to announce this year’s winner of the Cover Art Contest, Alum, Jackson Williams. His visual interpretation of the poetry of Corey Hines suspends space and time… and place. As editors, we embrace and hold dear taking a moment with words on a page. The connections we have as readers and keepers of thought triggers bursts of emotion that can only be accessed through art.
Jackson’s work expounds on this bond– and on our literary journey as an evolving publication and gallery of student work. We are pleased to officially reveal to you the cover of our 2024 print issue of Honeycomb Literary Journal through the heart and mind of Jackson Williams.
Thank you to everyone who submitted their visual works and embarking on this challenge along with us. We hope to continue telling stories without words and look forward to the year to come.
Sincerely,
Galyn and Christin, Editors Honeycomb Literary Journal
