Created during the 2020 pandemic, Life in Pastel is an illustration that speaks to the simplicity of everyday life. reflecting on the pandemic,  many of us had a lot of time to focus on ourselves and our loved ones. This piece is meant to look back at that time. A time when the world slowed down. It offers a unique snapshot of different people’s lives, capturing moments of solitude, connection, and routine. 

“My work is personal, so it’s very meaningful to me! I’m a huge lover of visual storytelling, and most of the illustrations I make represent an aspect of myself in one way or another.”

About the Artist: Ari is an Advertising MFA student pursuing a career in Art Direction. Her biggest passion (besides coffee and her dogs) is telling visual stories, one happy accident at a time.
